Mary and Maggie Sonia.....

Mommy Mary and baby Maggie Sonia at breakfast : Thursday morning
It was rather a difficult night. Its taking 110% of our efforts right now to get our little one settled down. Since we left the orphanage 20 hours ago, she hadn't eaten or drank anything. She really really missed her care-takers!!
But this morning we had our little miracles at the restaurant in the hotel during our breakfast time!
There's another family (from Spain) that have adopted a little girl from SMSS -- we heard a "Hi Sonia" from the back....and our little one perked up ...and the smile was magic.

Jenny and Dick C from London England who are kindred souls here in Bhubaneswar that have shared their holidays with us. (Maggie Sonia will have a silver box when she grows up -- a treasured gift from them).

  3. Awesome! Sonia-Maggie's a strong little girl, and she'll be fine. (So will you!). It's warming up here in Minnesota: 15F today, chance of snow on Sunday, 20's next week -- we'll keep her warm and cozy! The kids can't wait to meet her!

    Love, Michele

  4. Pam and I are so happy for you guys. Hang in there - you're family will be home soon, and it won't take long from Maggie to fall in love with you both. We're thinking of you every day, and are looking forward to meeting Maggie.

  6. I'm sure the transition for Maggie is
challenging. She'll come around with all
that love that will be showered over her.
Oh by the way how about a photo of the
familia with PAPA in there. SMILE

  8. Maggie will be fine. Its so nice to see her with you both. Don't fret too much about her eating habits. I have a 12 year old, and I still battle every day with him regards to eating.
Soon Maggie will start munching everything down.
    All she needs is LOVE!
    God Bless!

  10. This is Nate-we were all very glad to see her eating and drinking and generally looking happy. I can't wait until she comes! Tell Sonia-Maggie to keep her strength up, she'll need it when I teach her how to play baseball. See you soon!

Love, Nate (and the rest of the Paskos)
