We are flying home with our little Maggie Sonia!!



We fly home on December 23rd !! The next 24 hours on the airplane should be interesting?!!! We are hoping our little one will sleep through the first leg to Amsterdam.
For those following our flight home: we are flying Northwest/KLM flight NW8366 to Amsterdam and NW0241 to Minneapolis Minnesota.

The past 9 days has been an experience of a lifetime !!!
Maggie Sonia is starting to show glimpses of her true personality!
She is a very determined young lady and 20 lbs of pure feist.
We sign off for now....Thank you to all who sent encouragements and tips this past week.
Next week we'll write a more detail synopsis of the adoption process at SMSS, the trip itself and the I-800 visa interview.

    ... the love with which you write about Maggie ... it touches me! So great to see Maggie open up! When I look at your pictures from the first days and now ... it's great to see that her eyes are lighting up already :o)

    Now that Ash and I are back from travels and at computer, it's such a joy to read of your journey, see pictures of Maggie with you, get a sense of her first home, and now to see her in Mary's arms with Thom's loving support so evident, and to read all the loving, encouraging comments from family and friends. What a time you are having! How incredible it must be for your little daughter, in a moving tide of the unfamiliar, to have the two of you be her island of loving safety. What a bond the three of you are creating as you travel on toward home, and creating "home" as you go. And soon there will be many who love you to ease your tiredness a bit, and to draw Maggie into the widening circle of her world.
